      Jon -

Enclosed are the six Kaypro II disks we discussed via e-mail. I
have included an additional one with MBasic and the program
HELP.COM and several Help files. You might want to try
HELP CPM and HELP MBASIC. They should provide some useful
      information to you.

I urge you to make copies of each of these disks at your
earliest opportunity, use the new ones as your working copies, and
put these away in a safe place. That way, if disaster strikes,
you can always recreate your working disk.

The easiest way to make the copies is with the COPY command. But,
first be sure that the notch on the side of the disks that I sent
is covered with a piece of tape. It write protects the disk.

With your machine booted up and the System Disk in Drive A enter
COPY<CR>. You will be presented with a menu of several choices,
the first of which is 'C COPY' followed by a paragraph of
explanation. Press the 'C' key. This will present you with a new
screen of instructions. Follow these, and you will soon have a
working copy of your system disk. Remove this from Drive B and
label it right away. Remove also the System Disk from Drive A and
      set it aside.

You should now be back at the main menu of COPY.COM. Press the
'C' key again, and again follow the instructions - this time with
one of the other disks that I sent you in Drive A and a blank disk
in Drive B. Follow through with the instructions and you will
have a working copy of the second disk.

Repeat this process until you have made working copies of all the
disks that I sent. Put away those ones I sent in a safe place!

      Have fun, and good luck!
